First leg of our world tour is the United States from where we will travel further South through Central America and South America, planing to continue our journey westwards to New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Asia and back to Europe from there.

On our trip, we are looking to compile a book of stories told by lesbians (both singles and couples) all over the world, from San Francisco to Shanghai, from rural indigenous villages in South America to vibrant metropoles in Asia. We are looking for stories which tell of what it means to be a lesbian within your community, and what your life is like. Maybe you’re out, proud, and want to show us the fabulous lesbian scene where you live. Maybe you’re just as out and proud, but find it difficult to deal with prejudice or complete lack of a scene where you live. Maybe you’re still totally in the closet, have just recently come out, or have been organizing lesbian groups for years.  If you know a person with an extraordinary story who you think we should interview for our project we would be thankful if you could put us in touch.

Yes, I know quite a lot about it.  it is called Bambu Lesbian Resort. My friend stayed just last week with her partner and 2 others of our friends and apparently it was absolutely gorgeous.  I am planning on staying this summer.  Apparently everything about the place is just great. I've never been to Spain and I thought it was all tacky tourist destinations but this place sounds quite different. My friends says it is incredibly peaceful, is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, it has a lovely pool and is the best holiday she's ever had.  And she's fairly difficult to please!  She says if you are into the scene and clubbing, then you wouldn't want to stay, as it ain't Torremolinos, but if that isn't your thing then Bambú could be right up your street.  As I said, I have booked with friends to stay this Augsut.  Come join us, let's make it a party!  Steph!
